Join one of our cultural guides for a one-hour tour of the abbey.

From the Middle Ages to the present day, you’ll uncover the history of this Benedictine monastery, explore its remarkable architecture and learn about the lives of the monks who inhabited the site for centuries.

The guided tour offers a deeper understanding of the abbey’s history, its restoration and its role today as both a historic monument and a contemporary art centre.

For younger visitors, discovering the abbey becomes an adventure.A selection of activity booklets and games is available at reception and is included with admission.

Throughout the season, Trizay Abbey also offers creative workshops, family activities inspired by the site’s history.
These special events provide a fun and interactive way to discover the abbey while enjoying a unique cultural experience.

Places are limited to ensure a comfortable workshop experience, and advance booking is essential.
